Vehicle accident with one dead in Wantagh

The NCPD reports the details of a fatal vehicular accident that occurred on Thursday, January 25 around 4am in Wantagh, Nassau County.

According to detectives, a 23-year-old male was driving in the parking lot of the Wantagh train station near the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Beech Street when he struck a pillar. The male victim suffered serious injuries and was transported by a Nassau County Police Department Ambulance to a local hospital. He was pronounced by a hospital physician shortly after arrival.
