Update on the police officer from the crash

Police Officer Brendon Gallagher is now in fair condition at Stony Brook University Hospital as per report released today from the Suffolk County Police Dept.

On January 5, Officer Gallagher suffered critical injuries during a pursuit on January 5 under the new program, Street Takeover Task Force, when a suspect in a Mustang was speeding over 100mph resulting in a crash on the Long Island Expressway.

Meanwhile, the suspect remains remanded with slew of charges.

The SCPD will continue to monitor the officer's condition.
