Update on the pedestrian killed in Hicksville

Police identified the incident as hit and run. The incident was reported around 5:45am on West John Street and Kuhl Avenue. The female victim who died has been identified as Gladis Bonilla, 54 of Westbury. She was going to work and was hit with her body throwing fifty feet. She is a single mother raising three kids. Her employer AVA Companies, meat processing is offering $5,000 for the information leading to arrest of the hit and run suspect.
