Update on the hit and run in Ozone Park

Police reported a passenger inside the Uber vehicle, Ritawantee Persaud, 54 died at the hospital. She was coming home from work when she was in the backseat of a Uber Toyota Corolla driven by a 50 year old male which was struck by a speeding Lamborghini Urus. Both driver and a passenger of the Urus took off. The passenger was found nearby with injuries. Police are still searching for the Urus driver. The incident was reported around 7PM at the intersection of 103rd Ave and Rockaway Boulevard in Ozone Park. Police also found drugs and weapon inside the Urus. The Uber driver's condition will be updated as he remains in critical condition.
