Update on the Garden City vehicle accident

The NCPD report the update on the multiple vehicle accident in Garden City. The vehicular accident was reported on Monday around 4pm on Stewart Avenue.

According to the report, a female driver of a red SUV was struck by a tow truck flatbed driven by a male, in front of 877 Stewart Avenue. The collision then caused the tow truck flatbed to strike a white van. The female driver of the red SUV and her sixteen-year-old male passenger, were transported to a local hospital.

As a result of the collision, the male of the white van was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The victim’s name is being withheld at this time and the investigation into the accident continues.
