Mayor di Blasio announced unlimited sick days for all employees related to 9/11.

This includes those who workers at Ground Zero. This is only for city workers from NYPD, FDNY and other public sectors of NYC including DSNY.

The agreement was finalized after many workers had their health conditions worsen. About 4,000 city employees are affected by 9/11 and now they are at relief to get paid while having sick days.

The law is already in effect with state workers which was signed by Governor Cuomo in 2017.
