Union Turnpike to be closed in Fresh Meadows for road paving

Starting April 9, Union Turnpike between Francis Lewis Blvd and Utopia Parkway will be closed at night time from 8pm to 6am for road paving. The city's Dept of Transportation will be working to clear all potholes in both directions. It will be a month long schedule to complete the tasks for the budget of $1.5 million tax payer's fund.
