Unidentified individual started fire

On 1/10/25, at approx. 02:20 AM, in the vicinity of 254 Broadway, an unidentified individual started a fire, damaging a marked NYPD emergency vehicle which was parked. Then at approx. 02:35 AM, in the vicinity of 14 Murray St, the individual started another fire, damaging an unoccupied vehicle. Then, at approx. 02:55 AM, in the vicinity of the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall subway station, the individual set a paper cup on fire and threw it into a garbage can. Lastly, at approximately 03:40 AM, inside a northbound "J" train at the Woodhaven Boulevard train station, the individual set fire to a pile of garbage alongside a sleeping passenger. The individual fled the location on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
