Um um um um hello anybody out there SOS

According to NYC Housing Courts, get this, get this, 1,781 cases have been filed against tenants living in NYCHA so far.

Why? For not paying rent.

Now get this, only 481 tenants filed against NYCHA for not providing heat, hot water and other necessary repairs. Now get this, NYCHA countered against the same 481 tenants for harassment against workers inside the apartments.

Right now, both the Assembly and Senate are busy with redistricting zones in Albany which is much more important for budgets.

As for the City Council, they are waiting for their own non-profits to figure out how to do the public relations and protests if any.

Now get this, in order to get a free lawyer, income level must be qualified or pay out of the pocket.

As of today, all housing courts are overloaded with cases with staff shortage.

So many protests to extend the eviction mortarium by elected officials moved on to something else a matter.

Now now now get this, tenants applied for state's Emergency Rental Assistance Program to cover unpaid rent during the pandemic and none has received nor in the future.
