Two separate train deaths reported in Queens and Long Island

Yesterday around 7:30pm, the SCPD reported a 21 year old male struck by train died in Ronkonkoma. This was in the eastbound direction. This morning around 7am, 7 trains were delayed on Roosevelt Avenue at the Junction Blvd station. Police say a 17 year old male was hit by a train and died on the scene.

ESU removed both bodies from the two different locations and the medical examiners transported the victims to conduct autopsies to determine the cause of deaths.

Police say both were not involved in any foul play.

The investigation continues.
