Two separate death investigation in Queens

The NYPD reported a dispute between two males turned fatal in Ridgewood. The incident was reported last night around 3:30am in the vicinity of Seneca Avenue and Gates Avenue in Ridgewood.

EMS transported the victim with stabbed wounds where he died as per NYPD report today.

Detectives have a perp in custody and charges are pending.

Yesterday, the NYPD were called to a home in Jamaica where calls came in for a shot fired. Further investigation stated a male, 14 years old was found inside with a gunshot wound around 5pm in the vicinity of 161st Street. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy. Detectives stated this may be a result of self-inflicted after gathering information where the teen had the gun when it went off unexpectedly around friends. Also, detectives are working to determine how the gun came into the possession.

Both incidents are under investigation.
