Two protests in Queens

Two protests are scheduled in Queens. Both are scheduled for 6pm. One is at East Elmhurst Playground, 100 St & 24th Ave in Elmhurst. The march will continue on Astoria Blvd and Northern Blvd. The other is at Juniper Valley Park, 80th Street in Middle Village. NYPD stated both protests are not organized by BLM but local politicians and activists against police brutality and defund NYPD. Drivers are advised to use alternate traffic during those two events.
