Two pedestrians struck by vehicles in Glen Oaks and New Hyde Park

Police reported on January 11 after 9am, a pedestrian was struck by vehicle on Little Neck Parkway and Union Turnpike. The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Around the same time, another pedestrian was struck by vehicle at the corner of Jasmine Avenue and Terrace Avenue in New Hyde Park. The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Both drivers of the incidents remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
