Two notes on vehicle accident tonight in the area

The NYPD closed off the intersection of Francis Lewis Blvd and Linden Blvd reporting a vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist. EMS confirmed the motorcyclist died on the scene from the injuries. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The driver remained on the scene.

As for Bellerose, police are on Jericho Turnpike by 247 Street reporting a vehicle accident. Several witnesses says the one of the driver was taken into custody alleging DWI. This is on the westbound.
