Two names announced for the primary in June for two seats in Queens

Former CNBC anchor and Queens resident Michelle Caruso-Cabrera announced her name for the primary election against Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. The other name is Ignazio ?Iggy? Terranova, former employee of NYC DSNY to challenge Michael Gianaris. Both Cortez and Gianaris are socialists and against capitalism that stopped Amazon from opening up their second headquarters in Queens that would have provided 25,000 high paying jobs. Cortez has the funds of $3 million that's far more than her opponents including a Republican candidate, Scherie Murray, 38, who runs a business. Gianaris is the main leader who called for bail reform process including victims must disclose their name, address for suspects to investigate further. The primary is on June 23 and then the general election in September of this year.
