Two groups will face pros and cons of the new plan for Belmont Racetrack redevelopment

On Sunday, December 10 at 4pm, Pro Belmont will showcase two companies bidding for redevelopment of racetrack with new stadium proposal. The proposal is part of new home for NY Islanders and/or soccer stadium. The same day around 3:30pm, Con Belmont will be protesting against the redevelopment due to low quality jobs and heavy traffic congestion. The Pro event will be held inside Elmont high schol and Con outside. Both events are open to the public.
