Two fire incidents in Nassau County

Firefighters reported major fire in Westbury. This is at Pines Motor Lodge in Westbury located at 101 Taylor Avenue. The fire started around 12:30am resulting 2nd alarm. More than 30 people were evacuated from the hotel.

Around 7pm, fire broke out at Walmart in Uniondale. This is at 1123 Jerusalem Aenue.

EMS reported injuries at both incidents.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
