Two energy companies fined for deception

NYS Attorney General Letitia James announced two energy companies, Energy Plus and Ambit were fined $700,000 and $1.5 million in payments to customers and penalties.

The decision came after many customers complained of paying more for energy services when they were promised of savings.

Customers are expect to get their refunds in the coming weeks.
