Two EMT in serious condition after responding to a job in Woodside

Police reported two EMTs were taken to the hospital after responding to a vehicular accident on the BQE in Woodside.
It happened after 1pm when the FDNY ambulance crashed with a vehicle. Another ambulance responded on time and both men were taken to local hospitals. One of the EMT suffered medical condition while the other was injured from the crash. Ongoing investigation.
This is from the FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro at the press statement in Elmhurst Hospital, " EMT Liam Glinane was driving an ambulance by himself when he suffered a stroke and crashed. Lieutenant Raymond Wang responded to the incident, but suffered an aortic aneurysm at the scene. Both are in critical condition."
