Tree fell toward a car in Ft Totten in Bayside

Heavy rescue operation at Fort Totten in Bayside reporting a tree fell toward a car with people inside during lightning and heavy rain.

ESU, FDNY and police are working on the scene.

Due to rain people started leaving when the incident happened at the annual fireworks.

EMS is checking for injuries.
