Travelers finally made noise to the city for the bridge

The outside lanes of Queensboro Bridge closed for vehicles is now a bike lane and later added pedestrian pathway on the upper level. Travelers by both bike and foot constantly complains of the danger while crossing with not enough fence and fading or asphalt. Worse the vibration of vehicles passing by making some scared. Finally NYC Dept of Transportation listened and the first step is conduit installation under the bridge. The construction will start on August 7 until September 22. Officials reported bike riders will have to walk during the hours of 10pm to 5am.
