Transit crime is at all time high in NYC

According to NYPD, transit crime is up 56% compared to 10 years ago, the most violent offenders are released back due to bail reform. Many commuters fear for safety while traveling to work. The other two crimes that also went up are grand larceny by 28% and felony assault by 29%. Overall, crime is up 9% compared to 2 years and the same compared to 10 years ago for 2020.
