Transit Mounted Unit launched in NYC subways

The NYPD announced of the new promotion, Transit Mounted Unit which is seeing a cop on a horse inside the subway stations of NYC. This is part of the program to combat further crime including fare jumpers and track suspicious packages left unattended. Currently the horses are stationed in Grand Central station and soon to expand.
