Train shut down in Garden City

Police are at the Garden City train station reporting a fully involved car fire on the tracks. Power is shut down in both directions. EMS is checking for injuries. Firefighters are working on the scene. Now reporting the fire extended to the opposite side. MTA crew is now working to clear the tracks.
