Train delays on south Nassau County due to fatality

The NCPD report a male struck by train at the LIRR line in Freeport and died.

ESU is working to remove the body from under the train. EMS is checking for additional injuries of civilians. Power is shut down in both directions for now.

The medical examiner is standing by to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

Delays all around.
