They went from Long Beach to Jones Beach

Heavy NCPD at the local Jones Beach reported a large crowd of kids at the area acting erratic and reckless. Police say the crowd are all teens from local schools in Queens and Long Island. More cops are enroute to the scene as the beach is now closed for the public.

Back in 2023, cops were called to Long Beach after a group of teens broke out violence at Riptides Snack Shop on Broadwalk. Then for two years, the Long Beach area has been closed from having multi-school parties calling it school skip day.

Today, a message was posted on social media when it started today afternoon until the ruckus started in the evening.

EMS is attending to kids after reporting of assault incidents.

A witness says at least 250 kids are at the beach refusing to leave and there were fights. Police are working to disperse the situation.
