The search for a dead body continues in Bayside

Police are continuing of a report since early morning around 5 or 6am of a possible dead body in Bayside after several witnesses called 911 of a man jumping into the water. The initial start was on Totten Avenue near Cross Island Parkway.

The continuation is around the public park. Divers has been on the search after numerous tips were received of something floating. Ongoing investigation.

This is the second incident after another body was found on the Manhattan side which was last reported floating in the vicinity of College Point and Bayside last week.

Update - NYPD reported the Bayside body found is male, Asian apparently of suicide.
