The almighty socialist from DC called for endorsements in NYC

After the NYC Mayoral debate involving 9 Democratic candidates, local Congress member Alexandria Ocasio Cortez endorsed Zohran Mamdai first, Adrienne Adams second, Brad Lander third, Scott Stringer fourth and Zellnor Myrie fifth.

Alexandria often goes by the name AOC like Clark Reeve to Superman built a social media fan base for all loyalists to follow socialism. The leverage AOC has from built-in audiences from X, Instagram, FB to TikTok exceeds more than any NY and NYC local elected officials. This is where the front runner Andrew Cuomo criticized Mamdani for taking too many videos and posting on social media when he should do his job as a member of Assembly.

During the debate, Mamdani said add more mental health workers and social workers to stop crime from shoplifting to robberies by forming Dept of Community Safety.

Maybe the plan is to have a social worker stop a shoplifter and ask about the childhood trauma.

The other embarrassing response was this: to add more social programs, “We’ll get that funding by taxing the 1% and the wealthiest corporations right here in New York." From 2020 to 2023, 400 wealthiest corporations left California for Texas along with the workers leaving the state with a deficit. The California Governor is scratching head whether to borrow, cut spending or raise taxes which the NY Governor is also considering. More than 60 wealthiest corporations have left NY.

One candidate Michael Blake did some impressions with straight sharp responses but a long shot.

Whitney Tilson tried the Bloomberg model but failed since the new voters have no clue of any names before Bill de Blasio who introduced socialism.

The rest of the candidates had no clue what they were doing in the debate since they were no match to compare with Cuomo and Mamdani, both having huge blocks of voter base.

So when it comes to Mamdani's socialism with public benefits or Cuomo's communism with unions, the edge is Cuomo.

Most labor unions are all supporting Cuomo and he did say that 650,000 members are on his side during the debate while Mamdani's voter base is not even close under the Democratic Socialist of America (DSA). As of 2023, DSA as a membership organization had reported about 78,000 members nationwide.

During the last Mayoral election, Eric Adams won by 753,801.

This is the new ratio until this election, the Independent candidate, the current NYC Mayor will split votes three ways. Who will it be?

The one with the most labor union controlling NYC backing has the edge to lead NYC. Without labor union backing not even name recognition can help.

NYC is a union town. Period.
