Tenant released police report on the board member of Glen Oaks Village

The tenant residing in Glen Oaks Village Co-op released the police report of assault and harassment. Police confirmed its a landlord tenant matter and not NYPD which has to be taken to housing court to resolve.

According to the tenant, the rent was paid as per lease ending January 15, 2019. While she was in the process of moving out at the end of the day with the movers, Robert Friedrich went there to retrieve the key but she refused by replying she prefers to hand them to the landlord pending evaluation of the apartment.

The board president, Robert Friedrich demanded the keys to be given to him only. The unit belong to Friedrich's ex-sister-in-law who lives in Great Neck. Police advised the woman to change her locks for her own safety. At the same time, the tenant hired a lawyer and order of protection has been granted against Friedrich.

Friedrich continued to harass the tenant after the lock was changed by entering without permission and police had to be called. A second police report is in the process. The tenant is trying to remove her belongings but unable due to fear. Friedrich forwarded all the inquiries to the legal saying he is protected by the Co-op management resources, a reply will be given when announced. However, according to police, the matter is still an open investigation.

The tenant is in touch with Christina from 105th Precinct crime advocacy unit under protection. The tenant repeatedly told the police she doesn't understand why she is being pushed around when she was trying to remove her belongings in a cooperative manner.
