Temple replaced with supermarket in Floral Park

The former location of Hanuman Mandir on Hillside Avenue between 256 and 257 Streets will be a supermarket catering to ethnic food. Before the temple, it was a supermarket and the new owners filed for bankruptcy converting to a Hindu temple. Then the temple relocated to a temporary spot on the corner of 260 Street until their new building is to be complete.on the corner of 80th Avenue and 254 Street. This is the fourth large sized supermarket on Hillside Avenue between 252 and 261 Streets. There are no parking lot for the new supermarket so street parking is preferred.
