Teenager shot in the arm at Queens playground person responsible flees NYPD

According to the police, a 17-year-old kid was shot in the arm at a Queens playground late Saturday night.

The shooting took place in Elmhurst at Frank O'Connor Playground, close to 78th Street and Woodside Avenue, at around 11:53 p.m.

According to police, an unknown individual shot the teenager in the right arm. Treatment required him to be transported to a nearby institution.

The culprit fled the site in an unknown direction.

Still going on is the investigation.
