Technical rescue on the Whitestone Bridge

Around 2pm this afternoon, police were called to the Whitestone Bridge reporting a female jumped from drivers.

ESU recovered the female and EMS transported her to a local hospital.

This is on the Bronx bound side.

Traffic is now clear.

Ongoing investigation.

This is the second incident for the weekend.

Yesterday around 6pm, a male jumped from the Queensboro Bridge and ESU recovered him. Both are in stable condition.
