Swan rescued by CIP now in animal care

Police reported a large swan was found by the marsh of Cross Island Parkway today morning. The swan was wandering until passerby alerted police. From there, animal control arrived and removed for safety. The swan is now safe at Manhattan Care Center. Police didn't disclose how the swan end up there. The animal control is on the scene searching for more, if any. There were delays in traffic but great ending.
