Suspect wanted for weapon possession inside Q17 in Flushing

Police released surveillance pictures of a suspect wanted for aiming a gun at the MTA bus driver in Flushing after not paying the fare. The incident was reported on December 23 at the intersection of Kissena Blvd and Horace Harding Expressway. The suspect entered the bus without paying and the bus driver confronted. This is when the suspect pulled out a gun toward the bus driver in front of panicked passengers inside. For the safety of the passengers, the bus driver showed no fear and told the perp to get off the bus. The perp exited the bus with threatening words to the bus driver much to the relief of the passengers. Police were called to the scene shortly.

Now police are searching for the suspect.
