Suspect wanted for throwing explosive to a home in Long Island

The NCPD is on the hunt for a suspect wanted for throwing an explosive device at a home in North Merrick. The device hit the vehicle that was parked in the driveway and caught fire.

The incident was reported around 5:30am on Sherman Avenue in Nassau County.

After the fire bombing, the vehicle, Escalade was damaged in the front.

The suspect took off on foot toward Park Avenue.

So far no arrests.
