Suspect wanted for rape and robbery in Ridgewood

Police released details of a suspect wanted for rape and robbery on February 7. It happened in the vicinity of Gates and Saint Nicholas avenues in Ridgewood.

The victim told police the suspect was locked out and needed a place to sleep. She agreed and while sleeping, the man raped her.

She was able to break free and called 911.

The suspect took off with her items.

She told police she knew the suspect but police didn't reveal thee relations.

Police described the suspect as male, between 27 and 32, 5'11". Ongoing investigation.
