Suspect in custody for the hit and run of 4 year old in Flushing park

Police arrested the hit and run suspect today after a tip off which was $10,000. The incident was reported on Sunday around 6pm when the 4 year old was hit by a dirt bike by the boathouse inside the Flushing Meadows Corona Park while he was with his parents. The kid is recovering at the local hospital. As of today, NYPD released statement of 565 illegal dirt bikes and ATV's has been confisticated mostly in Brooklyn and the Bronx in 3 months. The 29 year old male suspect has slew of charges pending arraignment.
