Suspect in custody for attacking the 11 year old in Jackson Heights

Police arrested the suspect wanted for attacking a 11 year old female victim walking on Northern Blvd in Elmhurst. The suspect was taken into custody on Thursday night after an anonymous tip. The incident was reported on Sunday morning by 86th Street in Jackson Heights. Police reported the suspect grabbed the victim, pushed her into an alley, placed a metal object to her neck and made sexually threatening statements. Then robbed her $20, house key and other items. The suspect will be arraigned today at Kew Gardens criminal court.
