Suspect busted for the hammer attack in LIC

The NYPD made the arrest of a suspect wanted for the hammer attack of a female in Long Island City.

The brutual incident was caught on surveillance video showing a female was attacked with hammer called for immediate arrest.

This was on February 24 at the LIC subway station entrance around 11:30pm.

THe 57 year old male suspect was caught by police today and stated the attack was not targetted.
