Suspect added with more charges after Queens DA announced

The alleged suspect Jessica Beauvis, 32 was taken to the Kew Garden Criminal Court after charges were upped. When she was leaving the 107th Precinct, she said, "I am sorry, I am sorry that I hit him and he's dead. I didn't mean to, I am sorry." Her vehicle is still in Bayside on the Horace Harding Expressway continuing with the investigation of the fallen police officer. The Queens DA Melinda Katz will issue a press statement soon after charges are complete.
