Student under evaluation from Glen Oaks middle school

During the last week of June, police placed a student at the local middle school 172 for unknown reasons then. As of this weekend, the confirmed report of a student arrested for a gun.

The student entered the school on Tuesday around 9am and was taken into custody after investigation.

This is on 257th Street and 81st Avenue in Glen Oaks.

The student has been charged with weapon possession.

The investigation continues with the Queens DA's Office.
