Holiday weekend is approaching. Yesterday, the NYC mayor stated more NYPD will be posted to Times Square after a tourist was shot over the weekend. Today, on top of the already existing police personnel, police officers from other precincts in the four boroughs are moving to Times Square to patrol. This means less police presence in the same four boroughs. The mayor said 50 extra officers will be added with another 150 on rotation to the same vicinity. Those supporting defund NYPD and refund the people had their rallies all week and refused to admit victims with bullets are at all time high. As for yesterday, 9 people were shot with 1 dead. The 105th Precinct is very busy with bullets and victims in Laurelton, Cambria Heights and Springfield Gardens to Queens Village on a daily basis. Meanwhile, more NYPD officers have submitted their early retirements and resignations.
