State police arrest Fort Edward man for possessing child sexual abuse material

On March 12, 2026, State Police of Wilton, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, arrested Willis E. Arthur, 33, of Fort Edward, NY, for Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony.

On March 15, 2025, State Police received information reporting possible inappropriate contact between a child and an adult. The investigation discovered Arthur was allegedly in possession of an image consistent with child sexual exploitation.

Arthur was arrested at his home and transported to SP Wilton for processing. He was then arraigned at the Moreau Town Court where he was released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
