State is giving love but no money for city s migrant crisis

As of today, the NY Governor stated the state is prepared to send National Guardsmen to NYC to handle the migrant crisis but no money. Also the Governor stated the issue is with the federal government. Despite the NYC Mayor declaring a state of emergency, the number of people in the city’s shelter system is at an all time high.

The Mayor is in a desperate stage for more funding to handle the daily incoming migrants from Texas.

However, the Governor will work with the federal government to house migrants in both state and federal facilities where available.

Lastly, the Speaker of the House Pelosi was in Forest Hills today quoted,

"What we must do in our country is to have a comprehensive immigration reform and we all know we must secure our border, it's our responsibility as a country"
