State Police arrest Monticello woman following Thompson burglary investigation

On October 13, 2026, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Liberty arrested Brittany Neuberger, 35, of Monticello, on charges of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, and third-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony.

The investigation began on July 4, 2026, after State Police received a report of a previously occurring burglary at a residence on Dunbar Road in the town of Thompson. Investigators processed the scene and conducted an investigation that led to Neuberger’s arrest.
