Stabbing investigation at a Long Island beach

The SCPD reported a large group of people at Smith Point beach turned into stabbing. This is at Mastic Beach in Suffolk County. EMS transported all the stabbed victims to local hospitals. The incident was reported his evening around 5:30pm. Police evacuated all from the beach.

Shortly police managed to apprehend the suspects and arrested them.

A witness say all involved are from NYC.

Charges are pending.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - One person stabbed now in stable condition at the local hospital and two suffered minor injuries from the knife.

One suspect charged so far.
