Some notes from the plastic bag ban

Starting March 1, plastic bags are banned in NYS. However, the enforcement starts on April 1. So until April 1, stores can give customers plastic bags until they are no more without enforcement of fines. However, the store can refuse plastic bags to customers. For those who doesn't have bags of their own or forgot, there are people hanging outside the stores who can take items to the car or walk for a small commission. Also, some stores are charging 25 cents for a bag.
