Some Democrats regret mail in balloting in Queens

Democrats favored mail-in balloting and some are already on the verge of losing including Queens incumbents, Aravella Simatos and Michael Miller. They all favored mail in balloting. Today afternoon, the Board of Elections decided thousands and thousands of absentee ballots will not be counted since they were not returned on time and some stated they didn't get on time. Those who went out in-person and voted were counted in. Now the losing candidates are complaining mail-in ballots should not be acceptable. One excuse Simatos stated many seniors were unable to go to the post office to drop the ballots after completing. Another stated walk-in ballots should be open normal schedule by practicing social distancing. Some of the losing candidates decided to go to court. The count will start next week to declare winners officially.
