So many unnecessary lanes for drivers in NYC

Car drivers have so many lanes while driving around NYC including Queens but what about bike riders, the new hot hot hot commodity for the local elected officials rolling over and barking for corporate influence to stay in power.

Ride share apps from Uber, Lyft to delivery companies are ruling the NYC democracy which is on the market to add more lanes by taking it away from local drivers who prefer private commuting around the city.

More lanes are now being taken to add safety measures for bike riders, pedestrians and delivery workers by identifying busy spots. The main one is Queens Blvd where this spring, the city's Dept of Transportation will add more safety and accessibility improvements for bus service expansion, slow turns at each intersection for drivers, more features for safety. Work will start for 35th to 43rd Streets soon.
