Small Property Part announced in NYC Housing Courts

The five boroughs of NYC housing courts will launch "Small Property Part" starting January 17, 2022. This will be handling 1,2 and 3 family rentals if registered with the HPD. The Mayor's Office stated this is to make it much more efficient to handle smaller cases so the big ones are focused with much more attention for trials. The small part will be dealing with arbitrators between landlord and tenants along with their lawyers more.
